Wearing a beautiful fur-trimmed cloak and hood, a young Victorian child plays in the snow in this charming little winter scene. Carrying a little bucket and shovel that may have also seen duty at the beach, the little girl looks up the hill, perhaps looking for another child to play with. This is another great illustration of Victorian children from Ida Waugh. Playing in the snow would make a great addition to any project about children and winter.
