Small black and white leaf page spacer image. This tiny image is almost the most useful of all of the leaf images in this category. It’s just a sprig of a few leaves. You could easily use it like a rubber stamp to create a repeating border or even add some leaves to a floral image.
When Alfred H. Engelbach’s book was published in 1878, Engelbach did not identify an illustrator. Many of the images were probably purchased from a print foundry to be used with The King’s Warrant A Story of Old and New France.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
