Vintage black and white drawing of a branch with leaves and berries. This drawing was originally used as a leafy vignette between two chapters in an old book so I’ve opted to list it in this section of Reusable Art.
Use it however you wish as it is fully in the public domain.
This vintage image and page spacer was included in The Book of Brave Old Ballads from 1879. It appears to be the work of a print foundry, rather than the artist who illustrated the book – John Gilbert (1817-1897).
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
