Leafy Medallion

I thought this vintage image from an 1875 book about timepieces made a wonderful leafy medallion.

This black and white design could make a great addition to a number of projects. You could use it as it or remove 1 or 2 of the design elements to create a round frame or just use the central design. I think it’s cool the way it is but I bet there someone out there that can colorize or redesign it and make it even better.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
