This vintage letter W drawing would make a bold and dramatic statement on your next creative project. With a black background and white features, it really shows well on a white background. You might be able to colorize it some but I think it is great just the way it is.
Pretty lettering was not the first thing I thought I would find in a book about Yellowstone and Alaska that was published in 1893. First off, I thought a book on one of our biggest parks and one of our biggest states seemed an odd pairing. Second, I thought there would be drawings and vintage photos of the scenery found in both locations. Instead, I found floral vignettes and fancy letters.
This letter W drawing is one of several vintage, fancy letter images that were included in the book, other letters included: A, L, O, a second letter O, T and Y.
