This lizard drawing shows a small lizard sitting on a rose blossom. This pretty drawing is from a vintage children’s book and may have been meant to be colored in by the children who were lucky enough to receive this book. Then again, many of the drawings that I’ve found by Dugald Stewart Walker have been left uncolorized and are so finely detailed to stand perfectly well without the use of color.
Either way, this lizard drawing is in the public domain and can be used freely in your own projects.
The Peacock and the Wishing Fairy was released in 1921; it contained numerous illustrations by Dugald Stewart Walker (1883-1937).
