Fancy letter M drawing with ivy and berries. This tall drop cap letter image of the letter M is in dark tones but the large amount of white space makes it seem light and airy. It would make an interesting addition to a literary or artistic work.
It’s such a shame that they didn’t identify an illustrator when they published The Girl’s Own Paper, Vol. VIII, No. 357, October 30, 1886.
