This vintage line drawing is by the wonderful children’s book illustrator Harrison Weir (1824-1906). It was featured in The Nursery, No. 106, October, 1875. Vol. XVIII. A Monthly Magazine for Youngest Readers as a drawing lesson. I think it also makes a wonderful coloring image.
This duck drawing features a mama duck with her chicks. For a simple black and white line drawing, I think there’s tons of wonderful details in this charming image. Use it for a color image, part of an Easter message or anywhere you need a bit of ducky goodness.
