Vintage book illustration used as a frame for a chapter heading. As page spacers go, this one would be extra useful as you could easily make it narrower or wider. It has a delicate, yet dramatic look and would make a great addition to a literary or artistic work.
I’m so happy I found Hill’s Album of Biography and Art. It is unclear whether the illustrations are the work of the author. But what is clear is that this large 1882 children’s book by Thomas E. Hill was full of wonderful illustrations.
