Vintage drawing of a collapsible message frame. You could very easily make the space for letters larger or smaller on this page spacer image. It has a bit of an Oriental or Eastern flair with the filigree designs on each end. The designs are interesting enough that I thing they would look great used alone.
I’m so happy I found Hill’s Album of Biography and Art. It is unclear whether the illustrations are the work of the author. But what is clear is that this large 1882 children’s book by Thomas E. Hill was full of wonderful illustrations.
