Beautiful Christmas triptych painting of the Nativity with Donors and Saints Jerome and Leonard. The donors and the Saints visit the baby Jesus as a host of angels keep watch overhead. The painting is done in three panels with Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the ox, the ass, and the angels in the central panel. Each panel is housed in a gilded frame and a general Renaissance feel. It is the work of the artist David Gerard (ca. 1455-1523) and has been dated to sometime between 1510 and 1515.
This Christmas painting is housed in an American museum and therefore, the photograph of this work was most likely taken in the US as well. That means this Nativity picture should be in the public domain in the entire world.
