The book was written and illustrated by Margaret Armstrong (1867-1944). The Field Book of Western Wild Flowers was full of Armstrong’s wonderful flower drawings. This little orange flower border was used to decorate her work.
The simple repeating flower border consists of a single orange floral design that is periodically repeated in a horizontal line. Each orange flower is a solid color, so in reality, you could easily make this border image any color you needed.
