Not sure how you would use this whimsical drawing of an owl on skis, but I just thought it was too charming to not add to Reusable Art. I suppose you could edit out the skis, but that would leave our owl friend with a semi-frightened look for no reason. However you use him, have fun with it as I’m sure the original artist did.
This is another of those wonderful children’s books which provided a bunch of great vintage images for Reusable Art. National Rhymes of the Nursery did not include a publication date, but the artist was Gordon Browne (1858-1932) and his work is in the public domain.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
