Vintage, portrait-like owl drawing. I have to fess up that I edited this fellow a bit for you. I did an OK job but you might want to touch up his ears and forehead. This owl was originally used as a drop cap image but he was too pretty to me for that.
Cottontail and the Wishing-Fairy, published in 1921 included this and a number of other charming vintage drawings by Dugald Stewart Walker (1883-1937).
