Don’t you think this vintage palm plant drawing has the loveliest green leaves? With faint hints of blue accents, the unrecognized painter creates a bit of depth and interest in this 150 year old book plate. In this drawing, we have a palm plant with several branches as well as a central fruit or bloom.
This is one of a number of plant images which appeared in the 1858 publication Lessons From the Vegetable World.
