A lone robin sings to the stars in this vintage image. This public domain bird image would make an interesting addition to your next creative project with its unusual setting of a robin sitting on a branch under the stars.
This book was written by James Johonnot (1823-1888), who did not identify an illustrator for Friends in Feathers and Fur, and Other Neighbors. However, at least two of the drawings appear to be the work of Harrison Weir (1824-1906).
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
