Another great page spacer image from an 1881 French book. I’m calling it a rose bouquet drawing but there’s other flowers featured with the roses. It reminds me of those vintage porcelain wall pockets that often held artificial flowers. This black and white floral vignette was used as a chapter heading but could easily be used to frame a photo. Wouldn’t it look it pretty at the top of a photo to add a little oomph without taking away from the photo itself?
