Vintage, copyright free drawing of a black and white rose with several buds and leaves. This public domain flower image could be really nicely colorized with very little effort as it looks a lot like a rubber stamped image with nice crisp lines.
A Store of Stories for Children was also a wonderful source of vintage images. It’s from 1888, published by Skeffington & Son and written by Frances Clare. No illustrator was credited.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
