Sweet Lamb

This sweet little lamb appears frightened as he stands on a bed of hay. It’s unfortunate that this image is so dark but the hay sticking out of the edge of the main images adds a bit of interest. Enjoy this black and white, vintage image that is waiting to be downloaded.

This and a number of other page decorations were used in the book The Christmas Angel, and Other Stories. It was published in 1869 by Anson D.F. Randolph & Co.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
