This snail image is a bit bigger than the others we have on Reusable Art so far but I think it is a really nice one. He is a bit anti-social facing away from us but we can see his lovely shell and even a bit of his ‘tail’.
This black and white drawing was included in a compilation of Rhymes and Jingles. It was published in 1875 and created by Mary Mapes Dodge. Our snail friend was drawn by an unidentified artist.
