This public domain spider image isn’t really one of my favorite drawings of insects on Reusable Art. It has the requisite eight legs but other than that, I’m not really sure it looks that much like a spider. I guess that’s what makes art so much fun. If the illustrator declared this was a spider drawing, who am I to question it? Whatever sort of bug you think this looks like to you, hopefully it will be one that will find a good home on one of your projects.
Over 200 illustrations from Hill’s Album of Biography and Art are now included on Reusable Art. It was published in 1882 by Thomas E. Hill.
