Vintage drawing of a pair of storks standing in a garden. This drawing is part of a larger one but when the storks were cropped out of the picture, they now look as if they are getting married. Don’t you see what I mean? This black and white stork drawing is one of several anthropomorphic bird images I found in a children’s book from 1903.
Johnny Crow’s Garden contained so many charming drawings. They were published in 1903 and were drawn by the artist Leonard Leslie Brooke (1862-1940).
