Grand and wonderful is this vintage botanical print of a giant sunflower. This sunflower drawing is over 150 years old – it’s aged well hasn’t it?
Bright yellow flowers like this one are just such a happy part of any garden. The fact that these plants produce such yummy seeds that both people and birds enjoy is an added bonus. We would include these lovelies in our garden even if they didn’t produce edible seeds.
This flower drawing was included in Lessons From the Vegetable World which was published in 1858.
