Found in a book on how to draw, this pair of table drawings were offered as part of a lesson on perspective. What those of us who love vintage images get is the option of having an empty table or a table that we could put something else on top of. I think this is one of our more useful furniture images and it’s even a little bigger than some of our other household images.
This is a number of drawings from William Walker (b. 1821) that he included in his Handbook of Drawing published in 1880.
