Fine lines and curlicues adorn this vintage black and white border that reminds me of an art deco pin.

This image and several others here on Reusable Art are from the book The Christmas Angel, and Other Stories. Anson D.F. Randolph & Co. published it and the stereotyping was done by St. Johnland Stereotype Foundry. It dates back to 1869.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
