Finely drawn black and white page spacer and border image. Carved scrollwork, thin lines and flowers make this drawing look like it was designed for a modern rubber stamp. It would make a great image for scrapbooks, stationary and just about any arts and crafts project.
I’ve included this vintage border image on Reusable Art and labeled it as public domain because it was used in a book published in 1875. The book did not identify an illustrator but I suspect that this is a stock-type image from a print foundry rather than something drawn specifically for the book I found it in.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
