What a coincidence. White Holland Turkeys are white turkeys from the Netherlands and Belgium. These generally larger turkeys are treasured as prolific egg layers and for their soft downy feathers. If given a comfortable home, they don’t tend to stray. Regardless of whether or not these birds make good farm animals or pets, this vintage white turkey drawing is in the public domain and these two birds can be freely added to your next creative project.
It is so much fun finding vintage books full of wonderful illustrations. Thomas E. Hill’s 1882 work Hill’s Album of Biography and Art provided over 200 drawings for this site.
