Vintage black and white large turtle drawing. This drawing makes it somewhat hard to tell is this fellow is at the bottom of a creek resting among the reeds or sunning himself on some rocks at the waters edge. Either way he could make a great addition to your next project, either in his original state or colorized. It was drawn by Jessie Wilcox Smith (1863-1935) and included in the 1916 work The Water Babies.
