Part of what makes running a site like Reusable Art so much fun is you never know exactly what you might find. Whilst looking for vintage bird nest drawings, I found this nice and clean vintage scissors drawing.
The book was an instructional guide on the gathering and preserving scientific specimens. It was written by Ernest Ingersoll (1852-1946) and published in 1882.
I know how many times I have searched the web for a public domain scissors drawing to use in my own projects. This one is even a bit more interesting considering it is a bent-head scissors drawing.
