Fancy letter W drop cap image with flowers. A pink letter W is surrounded by blue flowers and greenery. It is one of 9 letter images we found in a vintage, children’s book. Several of the letters appeared more than once but each one used a different drawing. The other letters include: A, B, H, S, S, S, T, and T.
The book was There Was a Little Girl. It was published in 1883 and identified the illustrator as Bertha M. Shaeffer.
