A bit unusual for an Ellen Clapsaddle piece. In some ways, it doesn’t even look like one of her pieces. This one doesn’t have any children, just a white Easter bunny with a basket of eggs. I think the strength of this vintage Easter card is that you could copy and paste the illustration into a larger work. Wouldn’t it be cute beside a photo of your little one(s) hunting for Easter eggs – as if the white Easter bunny was hunting with them?
Along with the white bunny and his basket of eggs, he seems to be hiding behind a flower bush.
