Portrait of a Woman with a Pink Carnation shows a melancholy lady sitting for a portrait holding a single pink carnation. Drawings of women seems somehow not a category befitting the quality of this work but hopefully by putting it here anyone looking for a portrait of a lady will find it that way. It is the work of Rembrand Harmeszoon van Rijn (1606-1669).
