Two beautifully dressed ladies confront each other. With one of the ladies wearing a blue dress and the other wearing a gray dress, you might mistake this for a Civil War encounter but the drawing was published 7 years before the war started in a 1854 edition of Godey’s Lady’s Book and Magazine.
