A pretty lady gazes out the window of a train in this vintage book illustration. It’s a wonderfully detailed drawing depicting how lonely traveling can be as our pretty lady looks somewhat forlorn in her finery. This book illustration was drawn Alice Barber Stephens (1858-1932) and included in the 1908 work The Wayfarers.
