Cropped from a larger image, this great vintage cat image showcases two cats by a fireplace. One cat sits watching the other bathe itself. This image could easily be cropped further to just showcase the lit fireplace complete with andirons. The area above the fire originally had some text and you could easily add a bit of your own.
Oh, there’s just so many wonderful book illustrations to be found by the artist Walter Crane (1845-1915). This one appeared in The Baby’s Bouquet from the 1890s.
