Medusa is perhaps one of the most recognizable of all of the Ancient Greek mythological characters. With snakes for hair and a stare that could turn a man to stone, Medusa was a deity to be feared. This Medusa head drawing is copyright free and will hopefully meet the needs of anyone needing images from Ancient Greek mythology. This and a number of other mythology-related drawings were done by Walter Crane (1845-1915) for inclusion in the 1892 publication Wonder Book for Girls & Boys by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
